Rules, Regulations and Policies
The Bridge Networking Group, Inc., a Florida Corporation (“The Bridge”) is a professional association, and is incorporated for the purposes of offering networking events and opportunities to Lee County, Florida and surrounding areas.
The website address for The Bridge is http://www.TheBridgeNetworking.com (“The Website”).
Attendees of any events held by The Bridge are by invitation only, and The Bridge reserves the right to invite, include, refuse or exclude any person or entity at any time, for any reason, so long as such reason does not violate The Civil Rights Act. Permitted attendees may only attend events held by The Bridge for business and business networking purposes.
The Bridge currently holds the following events under the corresponding titles:
a. The Bridge Networking Group – every other Wednesday afternoon: Colonial Country Club,
b. North Fort Myers Bridge Networking Group – the last Thursday afternoon of each month: Bianca’s restaurant,
c. A Night in the Cape – the first Thursday night of each month: Wine and Roses,
d. Leaders in Lehigh – the third Tuesday afternoon of each month: Microtel Inn.
e. Punta Gorda Bridge Networking Group- first Friday of the month at Benedetto's
f. Sunset Exhcange once a month at The Reserve Bar
g. Bridge to a Brighter Future - Education the third Friday of the month
The events delineated in Paragraph 4 above are continuing, revolving events, which may be held without notice.
The venue, time or date of any of the events delineated in Paragraph 4 are subject to change by The Bridge, and such changes will be advertised on The Website.
Attendees of events held by The Bridge may not create a hostile environment for any other attendee at any event held by The Bridge at any time. Such hostile environment will be grounds for immediate removal from said event, and will be grounds for further and permanent exclusion from any and all future events offered by The Bridge.
The Bridge has the right to donate any proceeds from any events held by The Bridge to any charity(ies) chosen solely by The Bridge.
The Bridge offers display table and sponsorship opportunities at most events. Such display table and sponsorship opportunities are used as a revenue source for The Bridge, to pay for any and all overhead costs incurred by The Bridge for operation, event promotion, insurance, legal costs and administrative fees associated with the operation of The Bridge and all events held by The Bridge.
Any and all Companies must have approval from The Bridge to purchase a display table or the sponsorship to any Bridge event.
Hosts, co-hosts, greeters, reception providers, raffle assistants and any other attendee who provides any service during any event held by The Bridge are solely volunteers and are not paid employees or paid agents of The Bridge. Further, The Bridge is not compensated by any hosts, co-hosts, greeters, reception providers, raffle assistants or any other attendee who provides any service during any event held by The Bridge for any exposure gained by providing any such services to The Bridge.
No one may “Spam” any member, officer, attendee or affiliate of The Bridge via email, mail, telephone, or by any other means of communication, at any time for any reason. Such violation will be grounds for immediate and permanent exclusion from any and all future events offered by The Bridge.
The Bridge offers business listings on The Website for any members of The Bridge at an additional and nominal charge. Said funds are used as a revenue source for The Bridge, to pay for any and all overhead costs incurred by The Bridge for operation, event promotion, insurance, legal costs and administrative fees associated with the operation of The Bridge and all events held by The Bridge. The Bridge is not responsible for advertisers products or services.
Attendees must display appropriate business etiquette and behavior during any and all events held by The Bridge. Inappropriate behavior during any event held by The Bridge will be grounds for immediate removal from said event, and will be grounds for further and permanent exclusion from any and all future events offered by The Bridge.
With regards to seating at any event held by The Bridge, in the event that there are personal belongings placed on a chair or table at any event, such personal belongings may not be moved by anyone other than the owner of such belongings. Removal of any personal belongings will be grounds for immediate removal from said event, and will be grounds for further and permanent exclusion from any and all future events offered by The Bridge.
No one shall use slander or libel against any person or entity during any event held by The Bridge. Any slander or libel during any event held by The Bridge will be grounds for immediate removal from said event, and will be grounds for further and permanent exclusion from any and all future events offered by The Bridge.
No pets will be allowed at any event held by the Bridge at any time for any reason, unless such pet is medically necessary to aid in the disability of an attendee.
The Bridge holds events at several locations, some which may have an attire requirement. It is the responsibility of each attendee to confirm with each venue provider to ensure proper attire requirements, if any.
The Bridge reserves the right to refuse to accept or display any information provided to The Bridge at any time for any reason, including information that The Bridge deems inappropriate. This shall include the refusal to accept and/or display such information on The Website.
All advertisements on The Website are independently paid for by the person or entity advertised, and said persons or entities are not endorsed in any way by The Bridge.
Any statements made by any attendee at any event held by The Bridge are solely the statements and beliefs of the attendee and are not endorsed in any way by The Bridge.
All reservations made for any event held by The Bridge must be paid for, regardless of attendance.
You are responsible for the cost of any Bridge event when you RSVP regardless if you show or not. If you reserve a display table, you are responsible for the payment of that display table at any Bridge event.
The Bridge does not provide any alcoholic beverages at any event held by The Bridge, and The Bridge does not promote the use or consumption of alcoholic beverages.
Herein are the rules, regulations and policies (“Rules”) of The Bridge. These Rules may be unilaterally modified, altered, changed and/or amended at any time, for any reason, by The Bridge.
Attendance at any event held by The Bridge constitutes acceptance of these Rules.
No person or entity shall duplicate, copy or reproduce in any way, the information contained herein, without the express written consent of The Bridge Networking Group, Inc.
The Bridge Networking Group, Inc. Trade Show Rules
· Purpose of Trade Show
The principle purpose of The Bridge Networking Group, Inc. Trade Show is to provide a professional marketplace where vendors can display and sell their products/services to other vendors and to the public.
· Purpose of Rules & Regulations
Many of the rules are a result from rules imposed by the venue. Others are designed to preserve the purpose of the Trade Show as stated above. Therefore, guidelines and limitations which must be imposed for these reasons, The Bridge Networking Group, Inc. intends to allow enough flexibility within the respective assigned booths for them to make innovative presentations (remember, be a good neighbor).
· Registration and Name Tags
All exhibitors and attendees must be approved by The Bridge Networking
Group, Inc. for admission.
- Names tags are available for vendors who do not have them.
- Name tags should be worn at all times in the Trade Show area.
· No Undesirable Persons
The Bridge Networking Group Inc. reserves the right to eject from or refuse to admit to the exhibit area or from any exhibit or part of any exhibit therein, any person or persons, any exhibit or part of any exhibit or thing that is not in its sole discretion in keeping with the character purpose of The Bridge Networking Group, Inc. Trade Show. Upon exercise of the
Authority, the attendee, exhibitor and/or representative, its employees and its agents hereby releases and waives any rights and claims for damages against The Bridge Networking Group, Inc.
· Financial Responsibility
All financial obligations in respect to The Bridge Networking Group, Inc. Tradeshow must be settled with The Bridge Networking Group, Inc. prior to The opening of the Trade Show.
· General
All matters and questions not covered by the rules are subject to the decision of The Bridge Networking Group, Inc. These regulations may be amended at anytime by the Bridge Networking Group, Inc. as reasonably required in the interest of The Bridge Networking Group, Inc. Trade Show and all amendment that may be made shall be equally binding on all parties affected by them as the original regulations.
- Decorations and signs may not be attached in any way to ceilings, walls, pillars, drapes or painted surfaces.
- All booths and contents should not obstruct the view of other aisle.
- Exhibitors shall refrain from using sound devises in their booths which may be annoying to their neighbors and shall limit noise level from booths.
Rule Violations
In the event exhibitors, attendees or guest are found to be in violation of The Bridge Networking Group, Inc. Trade Show Rules, they may be escorted from the exhibition area. The violation of any of The Bridge Networking Group, Inc. Trade Show Rules by an exhibitor, attendee, guest, sponsor or accomplice thereof, will constitute grounds for denial of admission to future shows of any and all of the persons involved.
Liability
The Bridge Networking Group, Inc. recommends each exhibitor has insurance covering public liability and loss including damage and theft, to protect possible claims arising out of the operation of his or her exhibit.
Eventualities
The Bridge Networking Group, Inc. makes reasonable attempts to attract qualified attendees to its Trade Show but does not guarantee specific volumes or levels of attendees.
All above rules on this page apply to the Trade Shows.
